[Note: It seems that the system has
some troubles with the foreign addresses. One
solution is to put your real address in the address field and in the
postal code you should put “0” (zero) and “0” (zero) on the two
available fields, followed by the correspondent country.

- Copy of the ID card or passport
- Curriculum Vitae
- Academic graduate certifications
- Recent picture
Fees: Currently, the registration fee is 2750 euros per year (plus an initial enrollment tax of 60 euros).

Visa: Non EU citizens need to get a residence visa. Please check conditions with Portuguese Embassy.
European Doctorate Certificate
In addition to the normal diploma, a European Doctorate
Certificate can be attributed to PhD students under the following
conditions:
1. The PhD thesis defense will be accorded if at least two professors
from two higher education institutions of two European countries, other
than the one where the thesis is defended, have given their review of
the manuscript;
2. At least one member of the jury should come from a higher education
institution in another European country, other than the one, where the
thesis is defended;
3. A part of the defense must take place in one of the official
languages, other than the one(s) of the country, where the thesis is
defended;
4. The thesis must partly have been prepared as a result of a research
period of at least one trimester spent in another European Country.
